It's A New Year.... 2013!

Well, friends 2013 is here and I am excited to see what this year has in store for my family. We started it off with a fun evening spent in Michigan with family. It has been forever since I can remember being out of town for New Year's and Ashton & Ananlyn's first. To keep the excitement from New Year's going, Analyn gave us a scare that sent us to the U of M, Mott's Children's Hospital around 4:30 a.m., January 1, 2013. She woke with what seem to be the croup but since we have returned home we have been to the Dr. three times. She has phenomena and is on 2 antibiotics, what a way to start the year. Although, I hate having a sick baby our situation could be much worse. On Wednesday, a very close family friend went for a biopsy on her breast and she didn't get good results, today. She has done fought the battle once and could be fighting again. Please say a unspoken prayer request for her. On to our Michigan trip, we left on the Saturday following Christmas to go and visit family. The same day we left my Grandpa got took by ambulance to the hospital for being very weak along with some other symptoms. He was in the hospital the whole time we were there, Mom and I took turns going and visiting him. As of today, he was moved to a rehab facility to help him build strength. I have never seen him in this condition and it was very hard leaving, he has had a few rough years.

We also done Christmas with my Aunt, Uncle & Cousin while we were there. My Aunt has the most beautiful tree so original but with so many ornaments with such great meaning. There is a story behind every one.

Jimmy's 1983 ornament, such a cute little boy!
They also had SNOW, the kids were so excited. They loved playing in it and they even got to go sledding. That was their favorite part of the trip!
Analyn's first time sledding and big snow

Cadence & Tucker's first sled ride
 SNOW BALL FIGHT
Ashton's first sled ride with Mom

We are so grateful we get to visit as often as we do and memories are made to last a lifetime... Happy New Year's!
