Mama, It Snowed

 Every morning when I get up the first thing I always do is open the blinds (in almost every room). I just love the natural light and this morning Ashton was following me and our couch is in front of the big window in our living room so he climbs up and looks out and was so excited he said "Mama, it snowed". Last night before we went to bed, I told him the weather man was calling for snow which meant when he woke up we would have snow. In my mind, I was hoping there would be snow or I was going to have a very disappointed little one on my hands. We got up and opened the blinds to see a yard full of snow. When I got up with the baby around 1:00 a.m. it was coming down so hard, like rain, just falling so beautiful and heavy. It was so pretty, I have never seen it snow like that before.

This is our first big snow of 2011, hopefully many more to come. Definitely one to remember!
