Coupon Savings

Well, since my last post nothing really has been going on at our house besides our normal, staying in.... On Saturday, I got out and went into town to get Ashton shoes and groceries. I have just been taking it easy with my babies, cleaning, trying to get organized and cutting some coupons. One night while feeding Little Miss, I saw a show on TLC "Extreme Couponing" it was like 2:00 a.m., and was totally blown away be their savings at the grocery store. It made me think and I told myself " I can do that too". I have just been trying to look online for How to Coupon and related searches that would pop up. I have been reading, cutting and organizing a coupon book. I took my book with my coupons and went to Publix on Saturday. I don't normally shop there, I think sometimes they are pricey, but they had some really good deals in their ad, so that's why I went there, plus they do buy one get one FREE! Every store has a different coupon policy, so call the store ahead of time to find out what their policy is. With the savings at the store and my coupons I saved $55.07..... I was so excited, I even got some items for FREE. You should of seen me at the register, I was beaming ear to ear. So, it has really paid off. Since then I have been looking for a deal everywhere and found out today that at the place where we have our storage unit, if you pay for 3 months you get the 4th month FREE! Deals are out there and you just have to look for them. I will try to keep you all updated on my savings and if you have any helpful tips, please share. My parents came over on Saturday to eat dinner with us and here are some pictures from our visit.

Sunday, we just relaxed and took it easy. Ashton hadn't had a nap so about 3:45 this is how I found him ...

In the recliner, sleeping away. I know he is in his Christmas pj's but he loves them because they say "Santa", he is a huge fan of Santa. Already talking about him coming back. He doesn't understand he only comes once a year, lol.

Yesterday, a lady who is starting out her photography business came to our house to take pictures of Analyn. She is just starting out and was searching for newborn models and I totally signed up. She would photograph your child and give you a cd with 5 pictures on it for FREE and if you wanted all images you could buy the cd for $45.00 and it will have a written release so I can have them printed anywhere. I was all on board for that. This is just an idea she had and we went with it, turned out cute, I thought (I just took this shot with my camera). I will post more pictures after I get my cd. We are going to have family pictures made in March. I like to do the kids pictures every 3 months, it is a great way to watch how they grow so quickly. It's amazing to see how fast they change.
