It is Winter

Or in Michigan it is. We just got back from a week vacation and had a wonderful time. We didn't do much of anything really, just spent time with the family. My grandfather has had 3 heart attacks in the past month and a half so he is not in the best of shape. Basically, there is not a whole lot they can do to help because of his fragile condition. All we can do is hope and pray, we don't want him to be suffering to say the least. At this point he was transported back to his rehab facility by ambulance to see if they can strengthen him. Please pray for him. Enough of the mushy stuff, gets me all tore up. We stayed at a hotel half way of our trip the first night (Ashton & Cadence) love hotels, Ana on the other hand must of thought it was time for a party at her crib. She was up and ready to go, I on the other hand was exhausted. Traveling is so hard with little ones, it will get better with age. Ashton & Cadence are troopers at riding in the car. The next morning we drove into Michigan and arrived safely at our destination. While we were there we celebrated Jeffrey's 15th birthday, went to a movie, visited an apple orchard and done a little shopping. Nothing too exciting. Ashton, Analyn & I watched Lion King. Ashton loved it and Ana slept through the whole movie. His favorite new saying "Hakuna Matata". So cute. I am going to start with Jeffrey's 15th birthday. I was so happy we got to celebrate this special day with him. My mom made his cake, an ice cream, cake it was delicious. He is into football so that's the theme she went with.
In the touchdown zones one said "Happy Birthday" the other "Jeffrey"

Jeffrey & Aunt Cindy (his mom)
We also went to Apple Charlie's, it was a neat place, we loved it. The kids got to watch them make Apple Cider and Homemade Doughnuts.

Isn't this the cutest cat you've ever seen?
We had such a good visit, can't wait to see them again. Can you guess why we got a pumpkin this BIG?

You will see tomorrow!
